Lesson 2: Free Blogging

The first step to creating a free blog is to create an account. You’ll be asked to create a Google account. This is important because you’ll need this down the road, when you want to access/implement other Google services. If you already have a Google account, you’ll need to sign in before creating your Blogger blog.

Blogger’s free blogging platform is easy and relatively painless. In mere minutes you can set up your Blogger blog in its most basic form. You’ll be tweaking it as time goes on–but that’s okay. You’ll learn as you go.

Now, in these lessons I’ll be covering the basics of blogging, those things you should do so that your blog has the right bells and whistles. I’m not going to spend much time on the how-to’s of setting up your blog–if you are serious about blogging, that’s your part of the bargain. Play with Blogger and learn how it works.
