Following Through on Your Writing Efforts & Setting Goals

Published by athlyn at 9:29 pm under Freelance Writing Edit This

In my last couple of posts, I discussed writing for Triond and for PrintNPost, to help you to get your feet wet with online writing.

By now, you’ll have signed up for either Triond or for PrintNPost (hopefully for both!) and if you’ve been checking your earnings you will see that these have materialized.

Earnings will be small but they demonstrate that a newer writer can write and actually earn a little for their efforts, even if they don’t have much experience.

Okay, I’ve Gotten Started . . .What’s Next?

The next thing you’ll want to concentrate on is creating as much content as possible. It helps to set daily writing goals.

Goals
A good goal out of the starting gate is to commit to writing one blog post for PNP and one article for Triond. These don’t have to be long. Aim for around 250-300 words, which is only a couple of paragraphs. Try to do this each day, so that you get as many pages as possible up and running. If you are writing about similar subjects don’t forget to link to your other blogs and articles.

In a nutshell: the more pages you create, the more you can potentially earn.

Okay, that’s it for today. See you back tomorrow!
